Solomiya Tkachivska from Ivano-Frankivsk becomes world champion in contemporary choreography for the third time

Last week, the international competition Dance World Cup 2022 took place, where Ukraine was represented by a dancer from Ivano-Frankivsk, Solomiya Tkachivska. The talented athlete performed a sensual performance about the evil we are currently fighting. The girl managed to convey the pain that Ukrainians are experiencing and the appeal to the whole world to be heard. The jury was impressed with her performance and Solomiya returned to her native Ivano-Frankivsk with a gold medal.

This year’s championship was held in San Sebastian, Spain, so blago developer in partnership with King Daniel University covered the financial costs of the trip and sponsored Solomiya. It is important for us to help talented young people develop, reach high heights and become the best of the best on the world stage. So we were happy to help Solomiya realize her dream of another gold medal.

Solomiya Tkachivska is a young dancer from Prykarpattia. She is a graduate of the Vlad Yama Dance School and a student of the College of King Danylo University, majoring in modern choreography.

The talented athlete has been showing her dancing talent since early childhood. The girl’s choreographic abilities were noticed by the demanding juries of numerous national and international competitions and festivals. Hard work and diligence paved the way for the young dancer to become a champion. Solomiika won the first Ukrainian Championship in 2012 (according to the IDF), in 2013 she became the champion of Ukraine (according to the IDO), and since 2014 she has not let go of the most prestigious all-Ukrainian championship (according to the DWC). At the 2020-2021 World Championships in Telford, UK, Solomiia confirmed her title of World Champion and became a two-time champion.

This year, Solomiia won again at the Dance World Cup 2022 and became the world champion in contemporary choreography for the third time.

Solomiia’s sporting achievements:

World Championship – Germany, Dresden 2014 – 5th place

World Championships – Romania, Bucharest 2015 – 2nd place

World Championship – Germany, Offenburg 2016 – 2nd place

World Cup – Spain, Barcelona 2018 – 2nd place

World Cup – Portugal, Braga 2019 – 1st place

Solomiia’s significant contribution to her work was made by the television projects “All in the Dance”, where she became a finalist in the ninth season, and “Dancing” on STB TV channel. Unfortunately, due to the outbreak of a full-scale invasion, the project was suspended.
